Ballet Des Moines will bring a new production to audiences in Sioux City. The dance company will present Triple Bill: 3-3-3 at The Orpheum Theatre. Triple Bill: 3-3-3 by Ballet Des Moines features three short ballets by three choreographers in one evening of dance. Ballet Des Moines’ artistic director, Serkan Usta, will be joined by two guest choreographers, each presenting unique ballets featuring the company’s own professional dancers. Usta will debut his world premier contemporary ballet. The guest choreographers include Anthony Krutzkamp, the co-artistic director for the annual summer performance event, Kansas City Dance Festival; and Ma Cong, the resident choreographer for Tulsa Ballet and an in-demand worldwide choreographer. “Triple Bill: 3-3-3 showcases contemporary ballet through the stunning artistry of our dancers,” said Usta. “For one special night, you can experience the beauty and exhilaration of a show that rivals any ballet in a larger city. If you’ve never seen ballet, this is the one to go see.” Tickets may be purchased at the Tyson Events Center Box Office or online through OrpheumLive.com.
