Episode 1: 100 years of County Extension

Did you know some of our local ISU Extension and Outreach county offices have been here serving Iowans for over 100 years? In 1903, a group of Sioux County farmers cooperated with Iowa State University to establish the "extension idea" - taking the knowledge and research of our land-grant college to the people. Today Iowa State University Extension and Outreach serves as a 99-county campus providing education and partnerships designed to solve today’s problems and prepare for the future.
