Spring Friendraiser Events

Oct 19, 2016

Join us from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Street Brewing, 607 Fifth St.  It's a chance to mingle with fellow public radio people, and if you like, make your pledge in person. Receive one free drink ticket with a $100 donation.

The best part of waking up is… KWIT in your cup. Actually, no. Don’t do that. Don’t dip your radio in the coffee. It’s not a biscotti!

For our annual spring fund drive, we’ll be broadcasting LIVE from Caturra Coffee Roasting Co. - A Subsidiary of Coffee King, Inc, at 1301 Third St., from 9-10 a.m. Thursday.

As a special treat, Shawn Blomberg and Angela Lambrecht from Ultra Violet Fever will be performing. Siouxland Public Media's Ally Karsyn will be your host.

Listen to local music, grab a cuppa coffee and make your pledge in person. In the words of Bob Barker, "Come on down!"

Siouxland Public Media presents a Best of Ode Pop-Up Fundraising Show at 7 p.m. Friday in Briar Cliff University’s black box theatre, 3303 Rebecca St. The storytelling event will be performed in front of an audience and broadcast live on KWIT 90.3 and KOJI 90.7.  Admission is $20 at the door. Save your seat online ( by making a $100 donation and writing "Ode" in the comment box.

The RuralistsThe AircraftWinter Wayfarer and N.W. Engbers will be playing a live broadcast show at The Fruited Plain Cafe in Sioux Center from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Watch. Listen. And donate.
